and bury me 

with shiny things 

and glaring screens 

so I don't see 

my broken heart 

clutter my thoughts

with busy-ness

and nonstop urgency 

clog my Eye 

so I don't see beyond

the mundane

when do I 

let my mind run wild

see my inner child

who just wants to be held
