Learning To Walk

I who have lived in atmosphere

Am lost without gravity

Like a child learning to walk

My feet are confused

I keep losing my balance

But I never hit the ground

What is this sorcery?

The higher I jump,

The higher I fly

I wait in vain

For my bones to crush

On the hard ground

But they never do 

Or have I just not waited long enough?
